We’re ready to work and grow.
Maury County is building on a strong legacy of manufacturing and industrial excellence to power the next stage of tech innovation and economic growth. The business community, local government and other institutions work together to make this possible.
Key Industries in Maury County:
Automotive Manufacturing
In 1984, Maury County was catapulted into the national eye when Saturn Corporation decided to build its flagship factory in Spring Hill. Our workforce proved we had what it took to drive the modern American economy then. And today, the automotive industry’s biggest names—including General Motors, Fuel Total Systems and, once their $2.3 billion facility is finished, Ultium Cells—still count on us.
Advanced Manufacturing
Maury County’s ability to build cars didn’t come out of thin air. For generations, our county has been backed by legacy businesses like Columbia Machine Works, Columbia Neon and Smelter Service Co. This has attracted the attention of major outside corporations, including Landmark Ceramics, Samuel, Son and Co., RAE Products and J.C. Ford, who have trusted our workforce and invested in our county.
Healthcare & Medical Device Manufacturing
Over the past few decades, healthcare has emerged as one of Middle Tennessee’s strongest industries. That development, combined with our traditional industrial background, has made Maury County an ideal place for medical device manufacturing facilities, including SmileDirectClub in Columbia and Armada Nutrition in Spring Hill. We’re also home to Maury Regional Health, one of the area’s premier healthcare providers and a strong employer of over 2,000 doctors, nurses and other staff.
Research & Development / Headquarters
Manufacturing isn’t the only thing our county is capable of. Just ask Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee, headquartered out of Columbia, or Parker Hannifin, which chose Maury County as the place for all its company-wide efforts to research and develop innovative filtration technology. Other companies that have decided to bring their headquarters to Maury County include Groove Life—which develops and produces silicone rings—and Worldwide Stages—a state-of-the-art music rehearsal and production space.
we're ready for you.
